Photographer Yo Yamada spins night light and adidas night joggers.

AKIRA YAMADA, a photographer who moved to the U.S. in 1998 and has been based in New York and Tokyo in recent years, will hold his solo exhibition "aim_light and color" from April 11 to 26 at the adidas Originals Flagship Store Tokyo" in Harajuku.

For this exhibition, which will be held on the first floor exhibition hall and in the basement store, Mr. Yamada freely created works based on the concept of the "Nite Jogger," a model that glows at night that was introduced in 1979. All prints were made by Fujifilm, silver halide prints were printed directly on plaques of glass, and light boxes were also produced. And although the exhibition was held at an adidas store, there were no sneakers or sports equipment in the exhibition, which made for a very interesting experience.

He will be in the gallery from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. from the 11th to the 14th. We hope you will enjoy the world view from both the artworks and his stories.
