SILENT POETS is the solo project of Hoharu Shimoda, who resumed his music career in 2016, starting with the song "Tokyo" featuring rapper 5lack. Last year, he released his first original album in 12 years, "dawn," which became a topic of conversation.
The apparel brand "POET MEETS DUBWISE" has been launched by the designer, Noriharu Shimoda, who mixes the musical aspect he has cultivated so far with graphic design.
Based on the concept that "my work is a total work that includes everything from music to artwork," which Mr. Shimoda consistently upholds, the lineup includes a variety of extremely basic items that are mainly designed for functional beauty and comfort.
To celebrate the brand launch, a special event will be held at Jinnanzaka Journal Standard on Friday, April 12.
On the day of the event, 's Spring/Summer 2019 collection will be on sale, as well as special-order items with "Journal Standard," and a live DJ from "SILENT POETS" will be held.
