An artist duo that straddles France and Japan,K-NARF & SHOKO . will hold the exhibition "PRE-SUMMER RESEARCHES, STUDIES & SOUVENIRS" from April 20 to May 19 at a gallery in Azabu , Tokyo.
K-NARF & SHOKO create their works using the technique of "bricolage," in which various materials are used to compose their works, and a printing technique called "TAPE-O-GRAPH," which they have developed on their own, and their representative work "HATARAKIMONO PROJECT," which is characterized by its unique style, has been exhibited at <〈Anies b. The theme of this exhibition is "PRE-SUMMER". By photographing nature and plants that appear in spring in Tokyo and capturing them as works of art, the exhibition is a philosophical attempt to shorten the distance between Tokyo and the long-awaited "summer. Not only new works, but also past and unpublished works will be exhibited!
An opening reception will be held on April 20 (Sat), the first day of the event, and a talk show featuring K-NARF & SHOKO will be held on May 18 (Sat).
