Kim Jones was named Men's Artistic Director, and the fashion industry watched with bated breath[Claire] DIOR!'s Summer 2019 Men's Collection was far more than we could have imagined.
Kim, who based her collection on a tribute to haute couture, used light, transparent fabrics and pastel colors. Kim's sense of balance is nothing short of superb, and it must have been no small feat for her to create a fusion of high fashion and street fashion, which has become a trend in contemporary fashion.
. The use of graphics sprinkled on it was also at a tongue-in-cheek level. Among the many graphics, the Dior Oblique is not to be missed. The graphic, which will be explained in more detail in the next issue, is based on an archive from 1967.
The Dior Oblique covered in PVC rubber sneaker is an iconic pair of Kim's creations, and one that will be hard to find.
