The unbalanced design with the colors switched on the back and left sleeve, and on the front and right sleeve, the borders of different thicknesses, and the combination of three different patterns in exquisite tones of the same color, all show the unique character of "Engineered Garments". Designer Daiki Suzuki had this to say about the collaboration.
We wondered what kind of design we could incorporate into UNIQLO's high standard of quality control and material development. From the very beginning of the project, I was very much looking forward to seeing the finished product. It was a challenge, but in the end, I think we were able to propose a new basic with a subtle and clever approach that is simple but unusual, just like Engineered Garments.
