The new collection is a collaboration between Margaret Howell and Fred Perry, two of the UK's most iconic brands.
This capsule collection by Margaret Howell is inspired by early tennis wear, as represented by polo shirts found in the Fred Perry archives. . The fittings have been altered, but are based on the originals found in the archives.
The items, made of cotton and available in black and natural white, include a piqué shirt, a bomber jacket with jersey lining, tennis trousers, a short pleated skirt, and a white canvas plimsoll to which is added a white canvas plimsoll. All items include Fred Perry's iconic Laurel Wreath ( laurel wreath ) in the same color as the material.

To begin with, Margaret Howell is a designer who has always been inspired by functional clothing such as sportswear. This collection is a perfect example of that.
By reducing the presence of the Laurel wreath, Margaret Howell has done an excellent job of highlighting the charm and versatility of the item itself. The items are already on sale, so be sure to check them out as soon as possible if you are interested!
