This film is set in Japan. This documentary film focuses on Japan and its unique jeans culture that sublimated Harajuku culture, including the vintage and American casual boom that occurred in the 1990s after jeans arrived in Japan, and its impact on the U.S. and the world.
Also included are interviews with Harajuku culture leaders such as creative director NIGO, vintage jeans experts, and international pioneers such as world-renowned designers.
Watching the trilogy together with the three films that have already been released, one gets a strong sense of how many people have been moved by a single piece of denim and its greatness. It is a universal item that allows people to express their individuality, and will continue to be loved by people throughout the ages.
