Sweatshirts are the pride of Japan, a country that is particular about its technology. How many brands come to mind when you hear that?
The company started in 1999 with the strong desire to "create the world's best and most legitimate sweatshirts.LOOPWHEELER. is celebrating its 20th anniversary since its founding. The book "LOOPWHEELER," which contains a vast archive of the activities of the company's skilled craftsmen, will be released on Saturday, July 13.
Roop Wheeler" has been introducing to the world only comfortable hang-knit sweatshirts. This book contains not only graphics reflecting each era, but also the footprints of the company's thoughtful approach to the essence of the sweatshirt, from yarn and knitting to sewing. It is a book that covers the philosophy of LOOPWHEELER.
To celebrate the publication of the book, a pop-up store will be held at Hibiya Central Market from July 13 (Sat) to 21 (Sun). Rare archives will be displayed and sold, and on the first day, the 13th, Hibiya will release a 20th anniversary commemorative set in limited colors, which includes sweatshirts and T-shirts, as well as handmade cashmere fabric bears and pen cases.
Also on Saturday the 20th, a talk show with Hiroshi Ito (groovisions) and Takayuki Minami (alpha representative), who are associated with the brand, will be held with Toshiya Muraoka as MC. Please note that there are conditions for participation. It is going to be a 9-day event packed with everything that Japan's world-renowned "Loopwiller" has to offer.
