BEAMS EYE ON", a city guidebook introducing various parts of Japan

BEAMS EYE ON," a city guidebook that introduces the attractions of various regions of Japan from the perspective of BEAMS staff living in each city, will be distributed free of charge from July 12 (Fri.).

The "BEAMS EYE ON" collection is a collection of the charms of various regions of Japan curated by BEAMS, including local culture, things you can only get there, food you can only eat there, people you can only meet there, hidden gems that are surprisingly unknown, and so on. The first issue will be issued in nine locations: Shinjuku, Shizuoka, Osaka, Kobe, Hiroshima, Fukuoka, Matsuyama, Nagasaki, and Kumamoto!

. A number of guidebooks are filled with the real voices of the BEAMS staff who live in the area.

The first issue of the magazine focuses on Shinjuku (BEAMS EYE ON SHINJUKU) and nine other cities: Shizuoka, Osaka, Kobe, Hiroshima, Fukuoka, Matsuyama, Nagasaki, and Kumamoto. Each of the nine cities has colorful content that is both practical and readable, including spots frequented by BEAMS staff members who live in the area, classic stores, unique culture, and local stories.

BEAMS stores in each of the cities featured in the City Guide will distribute that city and its neighboring cities , and BEAMS Japan will distribute city guides for all nine cities free of charge. To celebrate the publication, a talk show with Yuji Iwai, who edited this project, will be held at TSUTAYA BOOK APARTMENT on July 22 at 8 pm. This is a rare opportunity to hear his firsthand account of how he came up with the project, what the concept was, and what it was like to actually cover the project. Please check it out as well.
