Do you remember the bag created in collaboration between artist Takashi Murakami and PORTER? It was an epoch-making product that expanded the boundaries of bags with surprise.
A bag, but not a bag. A special item by Takashi Murakami and Porter is finally on sale .
And now sneakers. The base is again the TANKER, which is synonymous with Porter.
The upper and heel are decorated with Porter's miniature pouch, iconic orange velcro, and green painted hooks and D-catches.
Three mini pouches, one large and one small, are included for each leg to store personal items.
It can be detached with velcro and used as a stand-alone pouch.
The outsole features a large "©TM/KK" and the typical "flower" and "skull" artwork.
The laces are available in three colors.
The sense of making a pair of shoes "wearable" while sprinkling in plenty of artistic playfulness. This is perhaps the greatest appeal of this collaboration.
