In Barcelona, Spain, there was once a gorilla whose hair was white all over. He was named "Copito de Nieve(," which means "little snowflake," and he is still talked about as "the only white gorilla in the world" after his death.
Inspired by the iconic gorilla, XLarge® has partnered with Spanish sneaker store Twenty Four Kilates(24Kilates) to release a collaborative sneaker. Release.
The "Copito" is a pair of Made in Italy sneakers that expresses the mysterious visuals of "Copito" through the use of a variety of materials and meticulous detailing. Suede, nubuck, kangaroo leather, and pony hair are all used to create a truly premium sneaker.
The "XLARGE" logo is specially applied to the tongue and the "24Kilates" logo is stamped on the heel. Pale pink accents are added. Three types of laces and a shoe bag are included, and to top it all off, the shoes come in a special box with an inscription commemorating the 25th anniversary of the founding of "XLARGE.
A spirited collaboration to close out the year, anyway.
