Nominated for a Grammy Award two years in a row, he is a major figure in N.Y. house music,LOUIE VEGAwill lead "Elements of Life" to Blue Note for the first time in 17 years.

Born in the Bronx, N.Y., he began DJing in his early teens.' He formed the unit Masters at Work with Kenny Dope in 1990 and is a living legend as a producer, having worked with Queen Latifah and Gloria Estefan, among others. The Elements of Life sound is performed by the latest and strongest lineup, including diva Anane, Josh Milan of Blaze, Axel Tosca, and Luisito Quintero.
