Amidst a mood of self-restraint, "Shibuya Fashion Week" is currently being held until the end of March, and "KIDILL," which has garnered attention for its clothes based on the punk culture of the 90s, will hold its first non-participant fashion show at the underground facility (under construction) at the west exit of Shibuya Station, Tokyo. Just tonight, Wednesday, March 25, at 8 p.m., the show will be streamed live.
KIDDIL" presented its fall/winter 2020-21 runway collection in Paris. The runway show will be performed live by the Seppuku Pistols, a punk music group that uses Japanese instruments, so it will be a different kind of show from the one in Paris.
The regular fashion show at large commercial facilities will be transformed into a lookbook "SHIBUYA LOOK BOOK "The Real Clothing"" featuring a mix of the latest fashion items, and distributed at various locations in Shibuya. The book will be distributed at various locations in Shibuya. Styled by stylist Koji Oyamada, the lookbook will feature new real clothes that reflect the current Shibuya style.
Other art is on display at 10 venues around Shibuya Station, including an installation created in collaboration with spatial designer Yoshimi Hasegawa and artist Takahiro Matsuo. Check it out as well!
