The Harajuku store, which regrettably closed earlier this month, had a café on the first floor with the doors fully open on sunny days, and people from all over Japan and abroad came to visit. The international atmosphere mixed with nature and local people was exactly what we consider to be a "cool" space.
Such a space will open in a new location on April 17. It will be located in the new "Tokyo Mizumachi," a commercial complex under the elevated railroad tracks that connects Asakusa and Tokyo Skytree Town®, and will be known as the Deus Ex Machina Asakusa store.
Small as an espresso and condensed into a variety of things, the store is located by the river, outside the hustle and bustle of the city, and is adjacent to several spaces, including a comfortable café, an apparel store, and an art gallery. The café offers coffee brewed by a famous barista, as well as Deus Chef's original food, which can only be found here.
Incidentally, a new flagship store to replace the Harajuku store is scheduled to open within the next year. We will keep you posted , as soon as we receive new information.
