Kakusenenen has been in business for 90 years. Kakusenenen, a nationally renowned succulent and cactus store, is releasing a collaborative T-shirt with MR. The T-shirts and long T-shirts will be printed with photographs taken by up-and-coming photographer Hiirino Aoki, using plants carefully selected by Kakusenenen as subjects.

The photographs, printed in a straightforward manner without any eccentricities, show the toughness and vitality of succulent plants and their inherent beauty. The prints are large and powerful. The delicate colors are beautifully rendered.

The motifs are Astrophytum myriostigma, Ortegocactus macdougallii, Aloe plicatilis, and Echinocactus grusonii. The Senen-en logo is placed on the back of the left sleeve on the T-shirts and on the left sleeve position on the long T-shirts.

It has been a while since plants have been discussed in the context of fashion, but long-established and famous stores have an indescribable power of persuasion.
