There is also the chance to talk with the staff and learn about their outfits, which is a very exciting experience. There is certainly something more exciting than simply buying something at a store.
BlackEyePatch.SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL" is a new project born from this idea. The idea is to promote Black Eyepatch dealers and their local communities throughout Japan with T-shirts.
Specifically, the project is to put the "SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL" logo on the back of the "Handle With Care" T-shirt, one of Black Eye Patch's most popular items, and distribute it to dealers at cost. This is a special deal. In other words, the T-shirts are more profitable than regular items, and we hope that this will help the stores' sales. The local community will be more vibrant when the dealers are more profitable.
As with their work with artists and musicians, Black Eyepatch's ability to connect with the people around them and bring excitement to the scene together is something I admire every time I see them. And I am reminded that this is exactly what a street brand should be.
