The designer is Brussels-based Marina Beautier. The name "Matinée" means "morning time" in French, and is derived from her cherished morning relaxation time.

As is typical of her work, which is known for its careful craftsmanship, it has a simple and relaxed presence. The natural texture of the solid white oak legs matches well with the calm body.
The body is luxuriously made of feathers, and the deep seat surface provides superb seating comfort that wraps around the body. The arms are soft like cushions and can be used as pillows, and it is large enough for three people to sit on, so you can lie down comfortably. Be careful not to fall asleep.
