adidas Originals and OAMC, which have created numerous masterpieces to date, will release the second installment of their Spring/Summer 2020 collection.
Taking a further evolution from previous collaborations inspired by a wide range of cultures, the new collection takes its cue from the contrast between the functionality of synthetic materials and the materials of natural materials. The result is two new types of footwear that are perfect for both.
The lemon yellow color will be sold exclusively through OAMC's online store.
First, let us introduce the "Type 0-4," a futuristic take on the outdoor-inspired "adidas Terrex," with OAMC's unique design sensibility.
It is available in four colors: night blue, natural white, camel, and lemon yellow. By using parts made of various materials, the tone is unified while exquisite accents are applied.
The upper is nubuck lined with fabric, and the outsole is the same rubber as the Type 0-4.
The Type 0-5, on the other hand, was inspired by the adidas EQT Tyranny, which was introduced in 1998. By combining the EQT Tyranny with a trail run upper, the design is reminiscent of the near future.
Models move freely in a closed space. Their dynamic poses show the high potential of footwear.
Also noteworthy are the dynamism of the visuals created by photographer Sam Rock. The photographs, which emphasize material contrasts and capture the functionality of the footwear and the beauty of the materials, give this collection a breath of fresh air.
