Ken Kagami continues to bring fresh question marks to the viewer's mind. A new initiative, "Pe Exhibition," will be held at VOILLD in Nakameguro.
His expressive formats are diverse, including drawing, sculpture, and performance. "STRANGE STORE," for which he serves as owner and buyer, offers original items, vintage clothing, sundries, and collections of works and goods by young artists. He is always looking for "interesting things" to collect.
As he continued to add to his collection, one day he became obsessed with collecting certain things. The "somethings" became so numerous that they were secretly hidden away in a corner of Strange Store. Nowadays, these precious "somethings" are rarely seen, but they remain in the corner of many people's memories.
What is it about "certain things" that fascinated Ken Kagami? What does "pe" mean? On February 3, ( and ), there will be an opening reception with a talk show by Ken Kagami, Masanao Hirayama, and Rinran Tonda, all familiar faces of "VOILLD".
