LEDs use semiconductor chips to generate light, but at the same time they generate a large amount of heat. Over time, this heat degrades the chip, causing it to lose brightness and color. To solve these problems, Dyson developer Jake Dyson turned to the technology used in satellite cooling systems and developed heat pipe technology for LEDs.
This system maintains uniform brightness, color, and energy efficiency by dissipating the heat generated by the LED chip elements. This heat pipe technology allows the heat to dissipate efficiently, and "Sisys" maintains brightness for up to 144,000 hours.
