The first release, "Lips Mug," is arranged as a candle holder. The mug is made at the Hasamiyaki pottery studio in Nagasaki Prefecture, and uses Slow Life candles from Noda Takeichi Shoten, also in Hasami.
Slow Life Candles are candles made in cooperation with local welfare facilities for the disabled, using old-fashioned manufacturing machines and recycled candles that are no longer in use. The soft light gives the warmth of handmade candles.
Burning time is approximately 12 hours. After the candle burns out, it can be used as a vase, penholder, or ornament.
The "Lips Mug" sold out as soon as it went on sale. This time, only 100 pieces will be available, so we think you need to make a decision as soon as possible. The sale will start at 12:00 on January 28 (Sat.).
