Distorted vision embodied. Illustrator Hisayuki Hiranuma's solo exhibition is currently being held in Shibuya!

Hisayuki Hiranuma , an up-and-coming illustrator who contributes mainly to fashion magazines and fashion brands.This articleand of course "HOUYHNHNM" have been a great help to us.

First solo exhibition last Decemberwas held, and the second installment, "100P: Hisayuki Hiranuma's Vertigo" is currently being held at the "Mustard Hotel Shibuya".

This exhibition expresses the world experienced through the deterioration of one's own health (i.e., vertigo). The theme of the exhibition is "the process of regeneration (replenishment).

By modifying the graphic of a soft drink that everyone is familiar with, the distortion of vision caused by vertigo is embodied. . The use of multiple images of the same color or a page from a comic book as a background shows Mr. Hiranuma's natural sense of style.

This solo exhibition is a challenge to pop art and pop culture for me . Pocari Sweat was a real help to me in the early stages of my illness that led to my last solo exhibition, when I collapsed due to health problems. I believe that the graphics of this package, which has been perfected to the ultimate degree, is one of the most representative of Japan. . I once thought when I was young that I would someday do an exhibition based on such graphics.
