A dream collaboration. Porter Classic and Disney. A magical bag with Mickey design.

Fantasia" is one of the most acclaimed masterpieces among Walt Disney's animated feature films. The film, consisting of eight films including "The Sorcerer's Apprentice," in which Mickey Mouse appears, was released in 1940. Its name is etched in the history of cinema as a masterpiece that combines innovative visual and sound technology that broke with conventional ideas.

This year marks the 80th anniversary of Fantasia, and to commemorate the occasion, Porter Classic has created a special item that will be released in limited quantities starting October 30.

The "DISNEY FANTASIA/PORTER CLASSIC NEWTON COLLECTION" consists of backpacks (3 types, 2 colors), T-shirts (2 types, 2 colors), bandanas (2 types, 2 colors) and key charms (1 type, 3 colors). The bag was created using PORTER CLASSIC and Showa Nishikawa's muatsu futon, a bedding brand with a long history, to make "luggage feel light" and "body-friendly. The bag is based on the "NEWTON" series, which features shoulder straps that are gentle on the body and make luggage feel lighter.

The upper body of the daypack and city backpack will be embroidered with Mickey Mouse's Fantasia design, while the shoulder strap will have a leather patch printed with a poster from the time of its release. In addition, the zipper pulls feature three Fantasia-inspired colors in kanuki. And all of this is made by the hands of Japanese craftsmen.

Also included with the bag purchase are a bandana printed with a poster from the period and a broomstick character key charm (also available separately). An original T-shirt with the bandana design hand-stitched by a seamstress from Porter Classic will also be available for purchase.

Simultaneously with this launch, Mori Arts Center Gallery will hold the Mickey Mouse exhibition "THE TRUE ORIGINAL & BEYOND," which consists of three zones: "Origin = THE ORIGIN," "Contemporary = THE TRUE ORIGINAL," and "Future = & BEYOND.
