Dr. Martens' "1461 3-Hole Shoes" were created on April 1, 1961, and were named after that date.
The shoe has been an iconic Dr. Martens shoe for decades. When they were first released, they were sold as durable workers' shoes. But as time went by, they became a popular fashion item among political protesters and university students throughout the UK. Today, they are a fashion item that symbolizes the times and are loved by a wide variety of people, from stylists to skaters, punks to poets, rockers to rude boys.
This year, to mark the 60th anniversary of its birth, SOPHNET. and END. collaborated to create a special model.
The two finished models are clad in faux crocodile and camouflage star prints.
The crocodile debossed model has a black upper and stitching. The other is a unique finish that also encompasses the culture of "Dr. Martens. The other model features Sofnet's famous camouflage star print on the entire upper, making a big impact. Both of them come with an "end" shoe charm. The insole is also stamped with the triple-branded logo, and the shoe box is a special collaboration-specific item as well.
