The Daikanyama Tsutaya Bookstore is a cultural spot that continues to transmit a variety of culture beyond the boundaries of a bookstore. The gallery space is well-known for its succession of exhibitions by fresh artists, and a solo exhibition by Natsuki Kurachi, an illustrator of note, has just begun.
Since her student days, she has expanded her activities by participating in solo exhibitions and numerous group shows. In 2015, she was selected for "The Choice," a competition organized by the magazine Illustration, and in 2016, Natsuki Kirachi had solo exhibitions at Le Monde Gallery and Title.
The exhibition, titled "Good Reads," will feature works drawn specifically for this exhibition, including people who read, items and places related to books, and the relationship between books and people.
. The touch that leaves a strange and lasting impression, such as the depiction of tasteful fashion styles that transcend time and country, and the uniquely balanced portraits of people, foretell of a breakthrough in the future.
In addition to the drawings, original goods such as zines and stickers summarizing the works will be available for sale.
