BIN in Nakameguro, which has been a bridge between art and fashion, celebrates its 10th anniversary. The store will be releasing collaborative items with gorgeous artists.

BIN, a select store in Nakameguro, Tokyo, which continues to promote the concept of "dorky is cool," celebrates its 10th anniversary on February 26, 2021.

BIN" is a store that has been actively cross-fertilizing with art as well as fashion, and has hosted events with a variety of artists, both famous and unknown.

Thus, limited edition collaborative items created by 10 creators who have exhibited and held events at "BIN" will be available for purchase.

The theme is "For All the Scum." . . The following is from the release.

The word BIN means trash can. In a trash can, there are all kinds of trashy things mixed in. . Somehow, the chaos of the trash cans seemed to shine through to us.
 
. what was overlooked as trashy can actually be very nice.
 
I want people to value what they think is good for them, not be influenced by others.
It may be trashy to some people , but the individuality that is you shines through.
 
BIN, the trash can, is a treasure chest filled with clothes , art, music, and culture.

Starting today, Saturday, February 27, two artists will be released each weekend.

Limited versions are limited to 10 copies each, yet are editioned and come with the original box for the purchaser.

From April 3 (Sat.) to 11 (Sun.), the final day of the event, an exhibition will be held where all of the artists' collaborative lines will be on display and where you can order the line you ordered, making it a must-see event, including for those who missed out on the limited edition version.

So, here is a brief introduction of the participating creators and the items that will be on sale.

The portrait of me in the center was taken by photographer Yoko Kusano in Taiwan. Ms. Akutsu, who saw the photo on Instagram, complimented me on it, saying, "If someone poured me a drink like this, I would feel motivated to work hard tomorrow" (laugh). Also, I chose catchy and fun colors for the logo of the magazine "STUDY," which I am working on, to reflect the personalities of BIN and Mr. Akutsu.

I wanted to make a uniform-like design, and since it was BIN's 10th anniversary, I wanted to put the number "10" on the back, so I had a girl wearing a T-shirt with the logo "10" printed on the back. The second was that I heard that BIN was also named after a trash can, so I had it printed on the front and a pocket as big as a trash can on the left chest to hold all kinds of things.
