A vintage goods store where unexpected encounters and mysterious encounters are always to be found.BATHHOUSEwill recently hold an exhibition and sale of a collection of "black pottery four bells," an iconic piece of Mexican folk art.
The "Black Pottery Four Bells," consisting of four bells assembled in a crisscross pattern, emit a dry metallic tone when shaken horizontally. It is famous for being used as the doorbell of the Eames House, which was admired by Mr. and Mrs. Eames, a famous folk art collector. It is also known as a masterpiece of folk art loved by many artists including Alexander Girard.
Although it has a stately appearance, it is surprisingly compatible with modern interiors such as mid-century. It is not only practical, but also useful as an objet d'art.
These valuable "black pottery four bells," which are no longer produced and rarely seen on the market, are now available in this exhibition and sale of more than 60 pieces, mostly made in the 1970s. The exhibition will run from Thursday, February 23 to Sunday, March 5. This is a rare opportunity for those who have been looking for them, and those who are interested in them should definitely visit the exhibition.
