Who are some of the great American actors of yesteryear? James Dean, Fred Astaire, Marlon Brandt, and many others, but Steve McQueen is certainly one of them. Nicknamed the "King of Cool," Steve McQueen was one of the top stars of the 1960s and 1970s.
One of his favorite items was a pair of folding sunglasses by Persol. They adorned his eyes in the suspense movie "The Great Bet" (1968), in which he played the leading role, as well as in his private life. This time, a reissue model of these sunglasses has appeared. The "Steve McQueen Special Edition" will go on sale in late April.
