This year, Dr. Martens celebrates the 60th anniversary of its classic 3-hole shoes. To mark this milestone, a triple collaboration has been announced. Joining forces are A BATHING APE®︎ and MASTERMIND JAPAN, both indispensable players in the Japanese street scene.
The special pair of shoes that brings the three together does not alter the elements that make up the "1461 3-Hole Shoes," such as the heel loop, welt stitching, and smooth leather upper, but instead prints "Shark" by Abasing Ape (®︎) and "Skull & Crossbones" by Mastermind Japan on the right and left foot, respectively. Shark" by "Abasing Ape_95" and "Skull & Crossbones" by "Mastermind Japan" are printed on the right and left legs, respectively. Both graphics are dynamically printed.
In addition, a dock tag commemorating the collaboration and a lace charm to thread onto the shoelace are included. The insole, lined with the logos of the three parties, is another highlight.
