To commemorate the third anniversary of the opening of the store, which is widely loved as a cultural center in Onomichi, a creative community led by interior stylist Fumiko Sakuhara, "TheMOUNTAIN MORNINGThe pop-up store will be held at the
Fumiko Sakuhara styled the store according to the images in the postcard book "THE JOURNEY TO SHIMANAMI" shot by photographers Shota Matsumoto and Nahoko Morimoto on the theme of "Shimanami.
They will encompass all genres of art, interior, fashion, food, etc., and will propose new ideas for living while expressing their worldview in their installations.
The lineup at the event includes a postcard book and many items from brands and stores that are closely associated with "Mountain Morning.
In addition, a "Setouchi Market" will be held at the adjacent Olive Square for three days from March 18 ( Thu ) to March 20 ( Sun ), the opening day of the pop-up store. In addition to local creators, a wide range of goods will be available, including local products and sundries.
This event is full of beautiful encounters. Why not try cycling along the Shimanami Kaido while visiting the market? The spring breeze blowing from the Seto Inland Sea is pleasant this time of year.
