MOUNTAIN RESERCH in Nakameguro and FUTUR in Paris . Despite their national and racial differences, the two brands, which respect each other and have deepened their relationship through play, have joined hands again to drop a capsule collection for the second time.

The first to be unveiled is a special sneaker featuring MEPHISTO, a long-established shoemaker from France, just like Future. The base model is the "Classic Barracuda," a favorite of Setsumasa Kobayashi, the designer of Mountain Research, who is also a Shoe Meister. The upper is covered in dark-toned olive suede, and the iconic "Mountain A" of "Mountain Research" is placed on the shoe's tongue. The shoes are made by MEPHISTO, so of course they are very comfortable to wear. The upper is made of GORE-TEX®︎, so there is no need to worry about rain. They are also fully functional.

Of all the shoe manufacturers, the selection of "Mephisto" is very interesting, and very much in the style of "Mountain Research" and "Future". It is not an eccentricity, but the fact that both brands are related to each other makes sense and makes sense to me.

Future vs. Mountain Research is planning to release T-shirts and sweatshirts in the future, starting with Mephisto, so keep your eyes peeled.
