We are pleased to announce that the furniture store "HIKEPhoto exhibition of Koji Honda's photo collection "madori" will be held at
madori" is a project that has been Honda's lifework since he became independent in 2009. It is a group of photographs that capture the beauty of nature and architectural forms created over time as spaces with a unique sense of distance. This exhibition will feature a collection of photographs and 17 large prints from film.
The venue, HIKE, is a furniture store that mainly sells vintage Scandinavian furniture from the 1950s. Honda himself has released "suomi," a collection of photographs taken in Finland, and the encounter between the two was probably inevitable.

Kouji Honda
Born in Aichi Prefecture in 1979 and raised in Hyogo Prefecture. Graduated from the Faculty of Engineering, Kumamoto University. After studying under Hirofumi Nagano and Akio Tomari, he became independent in 2009. He has worked as a commercial photographer mainly for advertisements, magazines, and books. On the other hand, he published a book of pinhole photographs of autumn scenery in Finland titled "suomi" from Mina Perhonen in 2013.
