Takuto Kawashima, Editor-in-Chief, says: " Now that the Internet has become a part of our lives, somehow people have become more lonely and less likely to bond with others. The same is true for romance, which has become more instant with the general use of dating apps such as Tinder and Raya. We want PARTNERS to be a magazine that questions this status quo."
The first issue features world-renowned photographer "Yogan Teller" on the cover and front cover. His son was photographed there. Intimate moments are captured in the photographs.
The book is also packed with trilogies by the three founders of "C.E.," Skate Thing, Toby Feltwell, and Yutaka Hishiyama, as well as collaboration projects among the artists. The book is a glimpse into the tastes of Takuto Kawashima, the editor-in-chief, and Kei Sakawaki, who served as the designer.
