Introduced here are DESCENTE's new outerwear made of Dyneema® bonded leather.
Many people may have never heard of this leather before, but it is a special material made by bonding Dyneema®, the world's strongest fiber with 15 times the strength of steel, with cowhide. It is said to be highly durable and can be used for a long time if well cared for. Furthermore, the manufacturing process uses less chemicals and water than conventional leather. This dreamy leather was created by the team of "ECCO," a company famous for its shoes, and DSM Dyneema, a textile supplier.

LEATHER DOWNHILL JACKET ¥242,000
This "LEATHER DOWNHILL JACKET" was inspired by the "downhill suit," a ski competition wear that is the foundation of "DESCENTE. Using a pattern that wraps around the body, it is a piece of clothing that is both easy to wear and easy to move in.
LEATHER TRANSFORM JACKET ¥264,000
The next jacket is a unique design in which two jackets are connected by a zipper. The base jacket is the "Transform Jacket" by Descente Ortelaine. The inner jacket is made of Dyneema® bonded leather, while the outer jacket is made of a waterproof, breathable material.
LEATHER COAT ¥286,000
And lastly, the long coat introduced here is accented with a hood with a fold-over cover that prevents the outside air from entering and enhances warmth. Seam tapes are used at the seams of the body to prevent water from entering.
Three models created by designers selected from DESCENTE SKI, DESCENTE ORTERINE, and DESCENTE OUTDOOR. The technology and experience of DESCENTE INNOVATION STUDIO COMPLEX (DISC), the research and development center of DESCENTE, made the use of Dyneema® Bonded Leather possible.
