What is Mizusawa Down supervised by Ichiro Yamaguchi of Sakanaction? The fan-favorite special model is now on sale.

Ichiro Yamaguchi of the band "Sakanaction" captivates fans with his unique and overwhelming world view. In addition to being a musician, he is also known as an avid fisherman and often demonstrates his skills on TV.

Mr. Yamaguchi's favorite winter jacket is the "Mizusawa Down," one of DESCENTE ALLTERRAIN's flagship products. Every year, he makes sure to stop by the DESCENTE Blanc store in Daikanyama, Tokyo, to check out the newest additions to the lineup.

What a surprise, now he is releasing a special-order model of his project "NF".

The "Mizusawa Down," produced by Mr. Yamaguchi and "Sakanaction" stylist Shinichi Mita, is based on the high-spec model "Mountaineer. While retaining traditional features such as "dual ventilation" on the front zipper and "Heat Navi," a heat-retaining material that converts light into heat, the inside has a detachable shoulder harness so that the jacket can be carried on the back when not in use.

In addition to the "DERMIZAX®︎ MICRO STRETCH" used for the regular model, the lineup includes the "Toray" ultra-suede that Mr. Yamaguchi requested. Both "Lake Size" and "River Size" based on the "Mountaineer" L size are available. Lake Size" is an oversized design with a wider body width, while "River Size" has a shorter length. All are unisex black only, and the "NF" logo is casually decorated on the left collar and right sleeve.

Applications for this special model are being accepted at the official online store of "sakanaction" until November 14 (Sun.) by lottery. Please note that only "NF members" of "sakanaction" can apply.

During the application period, you can try on all four types of products at "Descente Blanc Daikanyama" and seamless pouches with "NF" specifications will also be available. The winner will be announced on Friday, November 19, and the products will be shipped in early to mid December. The seamless pouches will be available on the official "Sakanaction" website after the down jackets.

Although the price is high for the "Mizusawa Down," it is a must-have for fans of "Sakanaction. We recommend those who are interested to visit "Descente Blanc Daikanyama" at first.
