CAITAC SQUARE GARDEN, a complex facility in Tenjin, Fukuoka, held its first event in its opening.

From December 18 to 25, "CAITAC SQUARE GARDEN X'MAS WEEK," the first Christmas event of its kind, will be held at CAITAC SQUARE GARDEN, the largest complex in the Tenjin area of Fukuoka Prefecture.

Despite the opening last June, all scheduled events were postponed due to the Corona disaster. A year and a half after the opening, the event was finally held.

The main content is "KISS, FUKUOKA. KISS, FUKUOKA" was realized in collaboration with "KISS, TOKYO," a new Tokyo culture inspired by "I love NEW YORK" that expresses love for Tokyo by replacing the KISS symbol.

This will be a collaborative event with the hope that by touching "Kiss, Fukuoka" people will express their feelings of love for others and pride in Fukuoka, and to convey a sense of welcome to visitors to the CAITAC SQUARE GARDEN.

In addition to selling original products and "KISS, FUKUOKA" limited items, the pop-up store will also offer an original marche bag to the first 100 people who post a photo taken at the photo booth with the tags "#CAITACSQAREGARDEN" and "#kissfukuoka" on SNS during the period. The first 100 people to post their photos on SNS will receive an original marche bag.

In addition, on the 24th and 25th, a workshop to experience silkscreen printing will be held by "THE CHARLIE TOKYO," a vintage store in Daitabashi, Tokyo.

Of course, "KISS, FUKUOKA" will also appear in the food area. Hot coffee, café lattes, Cuban sandwiches, roast pork cooked at low temperature and seasoned, and other items supervised by "Cafe Sake Shop Park" operated by SWITCHH, LLC, will be available for take-out.

In addition, "Meet the Art" was opened as a place to create encounters with new artists.

The first edition is a joint exhibition of young artists from Fukuoka. The curator is Yasumasa Yonehara (+DA.YO.NE.), an active editor and artist, who will collaborate with the "WEGO After School Art Club," which aims to support the young generation interested in art and new subcultures, and exhibit works by artists of various genres. The exhibition will feature works by artists from a variety of genres.

On the 25th, the final day of the event, a party will be held with Tetsuya Chihara (Lemon Life), the founder of "KISS, TOKYO," and FPM Tomoyuki Tanaka, who will perform as DJ. KISS, FUKUOKA" will be held in Fukuoka to convey the "KISS, TOKYO" idea of "enjoying the people and the city close to you more together".
