Santassé Galerie is a gallery and store by Tatsumasa Onuki, designer of West Overalls. The space, which was converted from a rice warehouse, is simply breathtaking.

The store has just the right balance of carefully selected original items, precious vintage furniture, and artwork with an extremely contemporary flair. Well, the "Santassé Galerie" is located in Tsukuba City, Ibaraki Prefecture, about an hour or so by car from central Tokyo, but did you know that there is actually a "Santassé Trade" store a little closer by car, in Kashiwa City, Chiba Prefecture?

This space is not as large as the Santa Sette Gallerie, but in addition to the original items mentioned above, there is also a selection of folk art, crafts, and used clothing.

While Santa Sette Gallerie can be described as a rather tense space, this one has a more intimate atmosphere where you can take the time to examine the items you are interested in while holding them in your hands.

Tatsumasa Onuki, President of SANTASSÉ
Born in 1980 in Ibaraki Prefecture, he began selling at a vintage clothing store in Harajuku at the age of 18 and eventually became a buyer.
At the age of 28, he started his own business and career as a designer.
Currently, he is active in a wide range of businesses, including "Westoveralls.
SANTASSÉ is newly established under the concept of "Trading Post" (trading post).
SANTASSÉ, a gallery and store, will open at the end of July 2021.
