D.A.N.'s first album "D.A.N." released last year captivated a wide range of people, including music lovers with a keen ear, and D.A.N. continues to enjoy long sales. Their stage performance at the RED MARQUEE at Fuji Rock Festival '16 was also well-received, and they are a hot young band that made a major breakthrough in 2016.

And D.A.N.'s first new album in a year, the mini-album "TEMPEST," will be released on Wednesday, April 19.
According to the release information, the album includes three new songs: the cool, deep minimal masterpiece "SSWB," which was released earlier, the beautiful, dark and epic "Shadow," which is a straightforward expression of D.A.N.'s current mode, and the urban and Balearic 11-minute epic "TEMPEST," which develops in a fantastic, exotic, unpredictable manner. The album will include three new songs: "TEMPEST," an 11-minute urban, Balearic piece that is fantastical, exotic and unpredictable. It will also include a Re-Edit version of "TEMPEST" reconstructed by AOKI takamasa + Fumitake Tamura (BUN)'s "Neutral". The recording engineer is Masao Saotome, who has worked with Yoshihiro Hanno, Jazztronik, and Ohashi Trio, and the mix engineer is AOKI takamasa, a leading electronic musician in Japan.

In August 2014, Daigo Sakuragi (Gt,Vo,Syn), Hitoya Ichikawa (Ba), and Teru Kawakami (Dr) started their activities. In September 2014, they released "D.A.N. ZINE", a combination of self-produced sound sources and a handmade zine, which is already limited to 100 copies. In July 2015, they released their debut e.p. "EP" on July 8, and performed at FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL '15 《Rookie A Go Go》 in July. Released a new song "POOL" on September 30 for limited distribution; released long-awaited 1s album "D.A.N." on April 20, 2016, which was selected as a prize winner of the CD Shop Grand Prize 2017; performed at FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL '16 in July for the second year in a row. Also, "Zidane" was used as the BGM for the official after-movie of FUJI ROCK FES'16.
