As the brand name "Alternative" suggests, the brand proposes materials with a modern essence using traditional Japanese techniques as an alternative to leather. At the exhibition, bottle holders made from Japanese threads were on display.

The second exhibition of this project will be held at "Graph Paper Aoyama" from April 2 (Sat) and at "Graph Paper Kyoto" from April 16 (Sat). Two special-order models with unique finishing will be on display.

BIKU TOTE BAG ¥15,400

BIKU TOTE BAG," which is based on the motif of a drawstring bag, is made of an original material produced by a long-established knitter in Kyoto. The densely woven synthetic fiber mesh used for fish baskets is tough and not see-through, and the four-strand waxed cord shoulder belt is made from shoulder straps. The shoulder belt is made of four strands of waxed cords, which is practical in that it does not slip off the shoulder and the opening is easy to close.

BIKU BAG ¥13,200

The "BIKU BAG," on the other hand, features a novel shape inspired by a fish basket. Since the same material as the "BIKU TOTE BAG" is used, there are no problems with strength and usability. A circular pillar is inserted to maintain the silhouette, so there is no need to worry about the bag losing its shape. The bag can be enjoyed in a variety of ways depending on its contents, and Graph Paper proposes it as a bag for picking up rocks.

One last announcement. In conjunction with the event, a natural wine specialty store in SendagayaWANDERLUST WINESHOPA new initiative, "Wanderlust Wine Club," will be launched by Yasunori Chahara of "Wanderlust Wine Club" and Takayuki Minami, Creative Director of "Graph Paper". In addition to the sale and tasting of bottles of wine at the exhibition, the club will provide a place to share and exchange information on natural wines.
