This artwork, which makes you miss summer, was completed by Lee Izumida, Shohei Yoshida, and Aloha Rag.

Aloha Rug" is a brand of aloha shirts that promotes the flag of "Urban aloha.

Each season we collaborate with various creators, and this time we have a painter andLee Izumidaand collage artistShohei YoshidaAloha shirts will be released, incorporating art pieces co-created by

"Black Collage" Lee Izumida × Shohei Yoshida ¥19,800

"Blue Collage" Lee Izumida × Shohei Yoshida ¥19,800

Lee Izumida's collection of museum tickets, foreign newspapers, flyers, and photographs collected in Japan and abroad, as well as rough sketches and notes describing designs at the prototype stage, were entrusted to Shohei Yoshida, who cut and pasted them into 35 collage pieces.

The resulting group of works was then divided into two groups, and further drawings were made on them to create two pieces of art in black and blue.

It took two years from conception to completion, and the high degree of perfection goes without saying because the design was created through dialogue between the two designers. The soft fabrics and coloring combine to create a truly refreshing finish.

To celebrate this capsule collection, a pop-up event will be held at "JOURNAL STANDARD Omotesando" and "JOURNAL STANDARD Omotesando ladies" from April 29 (Fri.).

At both venues, in addition to aloha shirts, the original collage works will be exhibited and sold, and an art book (published by White Solid) produced under a double name will be released.

The refreshing art pieces just dropped in make me look forward to midsummer.
