Last year marked the 10th anniversary of the birth of "Phaeton," a well-known store in Komatsu, Ishikawa . One thing that the representative, Mr. Yushito Sakaya, is as particular about purchasing as he is about clothes is perfumes. The store was originally planned to be open only for two months, but the response was unexpected and the store became a permanent fixture.
Introduced here is the second niche fragrance specialty store by Mr. Sakaya, Phaeton Fragrance House. This space was created on April 29 with the hope that people will immerse themselves in the world of fragrance more fully.
The store, with its massive wooden fixtures, features a selection of perfumes that differ from the Phaeton Fragrance Long Bar, including brands that are not available in Japan.
Some of these include a fragrance made by the long-established cognac company "Flapin," which has been in business since 1270, and a brand by Carine Roitfeld, who served as editor-in-chief of French Vogue for 10 years, which will be sold in Japan for the first time. . This is also the only place in Japan that officially sells the oldest French candle brand "Seal Trudon," which was founded in 1643.
In addition to perfumes, they also offer room fragrances, and their knowledgeable staff will work with you to select the one you prefer. They will continue to select unknown brands and hold fragrance-related events from time to time.
The store is located in the center of Kanazawa , along Seseragi-dori. If you are planning to visit the Hokuriku area during the latter half of Golden Week , or if you live nearby, why not pay a visit? It will give you a chance to discover a new world of fragrance.
