Special items commemorating the 40th anniversary of the release of the hip-hop movie milestone "WILD STYLE" will be released by RECOGNIZE, led by MURO.

We often learn about fashion and culture from movies. For example, I learned a lot from "Wild Style," a masterpiece of street culture, including the atmosphere of the Bronx at the dawn of hip-hop and the four main elements of hip-hop, including graffiti.

This year marks the 40th anniversary of the release of "Wild Style," a film that continues to be loved and influential by many headliners. To commemorate the occasion, the film will be shown at Human Trust Cinema Shibuya, Shinjuku Cinemakarite, and other theaters nationwide from September 2 (Fri.). MURO, who was moved by the film and has been stirred by its passionate impulse, has announced a collaborative collection with the brand "RECOGNIZE," which he designs himself. The released items include three T-shirts and a cap, for a total of four styles.

The mesh cap is made in the image of the boot rabbit head mesh cap worn by FAB FIVE FREDDY in the film. WILD STYLE graffiti is printed on the back of the brim.

Lee Quinones, who played ZORO in "Wild Style," designed the jackets for two of MURO's previous films, "MURO & ZORO" and "EAST RIVER PARK," which MURO produced entirely, as well as MURO's 2002 "KING OF DIGGIN ' presents...Sweeeet Baaad A*s Encounter, in which Lee with a spray can was the model for the jacket.

Hip-hop fans will be thrilled to see this timeless collaboration between "Wild Style" and MURO, who have had a not-so-distant relationship. On sale today, Wednesday, August 31, at "C30".
