Cassette Store Day celebrates its 10th anniversary! Free admission party and pop-up at TRUNK (HOTEL).

In the past few years, cassettes have become popular, especially among the younger generation, following in the footsteps of vinyl records. The small size of the cassettes makes them sound cheap and lovely, and their indescribable tasteful sound is fresh and new to both those who have not heard them in a long time and those who are listening to them for the first time.

This year, which marks the 10th anniversary of the event, a pop-up event will be held at TRUNK (HOTEL) from October 10 to 12 in addition to the usual events, A pop-up will also be held at "TRUNK (HOTEL)" from October 10 to 12.

The pop-up will feature an exhibition of the boom box collection of "DESIGN UNDERGROUND" organized by Junichi Matsuzaki, a collector of home appliances, an exhibition of artwork by Yuma Suzuki (ENDLESS HOMEWORK), cassette tapes carefully selected by "Gowichka" in Ichikawa, Chiba Prefecture, a collaboration T-shirt with "CREW AND CREW AND", as well as cassettes participating in Cassette Store Day and cassette tapes made of recycled plastic and bio-plastic that are friendly to global warming.
