A collaboration between MARUHIRO and BALANSA, where the cultures of Japan and Korea intersect. It is the return of hip traditional crafts.

Just last month, I curated the Fukuoka edition of HOUYHNHNM's and Parco's event "THE WEEKENDER," a Nagasaki-based manufacturer of the craft of "Hasami-yaki" (Hasami pottery).MARUHIRO". (Thank you so much for your help on that one!)

The company has collaborated with numerous brands to date, including the Busan, South Korea-based boutique "sound store balansaThis is the second time we have teamed up with the "Mere Old Man". The synergy effect of this collaboration is as tremendous as the first one.

This time, cups and plates from the "KEEPWARE" series are available. In fact, these are porcelain tableware based on the concept of "throw-away dishes," and are microwave and dishwasher-safe. You can see the playful spirit of both brands in the cups' motif characters and colorful colors.

The graphic of the Balança logo with the word "Hasami" is also reissued along with new colors. The Maruhiro mark secretly printed on it is also adorable.
