The brand was started in 2011 by surfboard shaper Christian Bolt to make surfboards.TOKEN SURFBOARDS〉.Previously featured in HuinamuAs some of you may know, we will be releasing a special order T-shirt at "Wism".
Although I think it would be wild to explain the graphics on the T-shirt, I will venture to do so.
First, "LAGOS DEIGHT" is the name of a surfboard the designer is making, and the logo itself is a parody of a vintage candy advertisement.
The Arabic letters printed on the bottom read "TOKEN SURFBOARDS," which is the brand name. The brand adopted this T-shirt because the T-shirt he was wearing was praised so much when he went surfing in Arabia before. Isn't this episode cute!
The last print in small letters contains the technical information necessary to create a surfboard, and is said to be representative of the brand.
Incidentally, Christian, the designer, seems to say at every opportunity that "this industry is too stereotyped," and "fixed themes such as folk, preppy, and tropical are repeated, and I don't want to follow the rules," and continues to create products that have nothing to do with trends or marketing. He is a solitary creator who has nothing to do with trends or marketing.
A T-shirt is not only a piece of clothing, but also an idea. Only those who feel the same way can purchase a T-shirt.
