In the world of hip-hop, the focus is not on the rappers who shine on the front stage, but on the producers who are behind the scenes, so to speak,CAYO IMAEDAdue toPhoto book "DAILY OPERATIONA photo exhibition to celebrate the publication of the book will be held from April 1 (Sat.) to 8 (Sat.). A photo exhibition commemorating the publication will be held at RAZE, a gallery run by Tokyo-based skate brand HELLRAZOR, for one week from April 1 (Sat) to 8 (Sat).
Cayo Imaeda, a photographer and DJ based in Fukuoka, photographed 15 hip-hop producers in Japan and New York over a two-year period from 2020 to 2022 for "DAILY OPERATION".
In this exhibition, some of them will be displayed, and the venue will also be created using silkscreen and collage designs. Collaboration items with will also be available at the venue.
A reception party will be held from 6:00 p.m. on April 1, the first day of the exhibition, followed by a DJ event at SOUND BAR PATROL in Sangenjaya from 10:00 p.m. The event will also include an after party featuring 16FLIP, SCRATCH NICE, DJ SHOE, GQ, the crew of "SOUL NEWS PAPERZ Hip-hop heads are encouraged to come to the event. It's sure to be a hot night.
