The base was the "GEL-DS TRAINER" running shoe released in 1995. Features include the "monosock" construction, in which the upper is integrated with the tongue using highly elastic material, and the "duo sole," which has small urethane protrusions on the front of the outsole for improved grip.
The warm, neutral colors, inspired by 1960s home appliances, are striking, with the English letters "W.W." on the tongue, indicating the initial "W" of "WOOD WOOD," and "two of two" on the insole.
This pair combines Japanese technology with Copenhagen's pop and artistic sensibilities. They will be available at a limited number of stores from May 27 (Sat). Don't miss them!
