Seiko 5 Sport celebrates its 55th anniversary. The first model is revived with the same old atmosphere.

Have you ever heard of the Seiko 5 Sports brand?

The company was born in 1968. As a brand of casual watches equipped with mechanical movements, we have introduced a number of watches to the world. Currently, the brand is developing five collections based on the concept of "five styles.

The first model of the Seiko 5 Sport will be reissued this year, which marks the 55th anniversary of the brand.

This one was loved from the late 1960s to the early 1970s. The case shape, bezel, dial, and of course the 5 at 12 o'clock are all reproductions of the design from that time. The case diameter is 39.5 mm, the same as the original.

One of the highlights is the special box, which was made in reference to a former one.

Also on display are three regular models that pay homage to the brand's early releases. The most eye-catching of these is a model with a boldly colored dial that was popular at the time.

The limited edition model will go on sale on Saturday, July 8. Of the worldwide limited edition of 15,555 pieces, 1,300 pieces will be available in Japan. The regular model, on the other hand, will go on sale on September 8 (Fri.).
