Handmade by artisans in the village of Aurora, New York, population 500.AURORA SHOES. The reliable quality, design, and form of the products have been loved by many fans.

This year marks 30 years since Aurora Shoes came to Japan, and a visual book, "Traveling Aurora Shoes AS MAGAZINE" (¥1,100), was produced to share the brand's new appeal with many people.

Aurora Shoes was introduced to Japan by Hayato Takasu, owner of the long-established boutique "Sunshine + Cloud" in Hayama, Japan.

This visual book was spearheaded by Mr. Takasu, with the seaside town of Hayama at the center of the creative process , and was composed with a warm localism.

The visual book was photographed by photographer Yoko Takahashi . She has a studio on the second floor of "Sunshine Plus Cloud" and is an old friend of Ms. Takasu's. .

This time, the duo took a road trip from Aurora Village, New York, where the brand was founded, to Los Angeles, Monterey, Santa Cruz, San Francisco, and on to Hayama, Japan.

The collection was also produced by a number of members associated with "Sunshine Plus Cloud," including Sae Isshiki, Serina Mottola, and Yusuke Hanai, who participated as models, and Mariko Hayashi, the designer of "jonnlynx," who was in charge of styling.
