Ennio Capasa's creations are actually rooted in Japanese culture and clothing making. Prior to establishing his own brand, he worked as an assistant designer at Yohji Yamamoto for several years, where he was impressed by Zen philosophy and the use of color in ink painting. This influence can be seen in his styling, which emphasizes monotone colors and shades of light.
